The business closed down, but rather than getting rid of the website entirely, it has been decided to keep the blog pages and other information. Cloth nappy business for sale. After 13 years with the current owners, Nappyneedz is looking for someone new to take it to the next level. An established cloth nappy brand I opened Nappyneedz in 2010 after the birth of my third baby. I wanted something that gave me the chance to work from home and that fit in with my interest in cloth nappies and eco-friendly products. To begin with I made all of the nappies myself, but over time I moved to having the made overseas. We have several reliable manufacturers, based in Pakistan and China who make nappies to our tried and tested patterns. Our cloth nappy scheme, which helps families in need get cloth nappies is open again. For the next two weeks, people can apply for the scheme. Read on to learn more. Free Cloth Nappies As we explained in our blog post last week, we run a scheme that gives complete packs of our cloth nappies to families who need extra help. Over the rest of the year, we take donations towards this scheme. When we have raised enough money we give away a number of packs. Some of the packs are paid for by our very generous customers. Deciding how many reusable menstrual pads you need doesn’t have to be complicated. Here are a few things to consider: How to decide how many reusable pads to buy Will you be using only pads? If you are planning to use a menstrual cup, you might only need two or three pads as a backup at the end of your period. Some people prefer to use pads at night, so then you would only need some larger nighttime pads. How long does your period last? If your period is only a few days long, then you will need fewer pads than someone who has a long one. Most people find that they need five or six pads for the first few days and then have to change less often. The heavier your period, the more pads you are likely to get through. Supporting a Kiwi Company It’s always good to support another New Zealand business, which is one of the reasons that I was really excited when I found out about sticker dot . Our 2021 round-up isn’t quite what I was expecting at the beginning of the year. Things seem to be so uncertain at the moment, that who knows what the next year will bring. For the next month, parents and families that need help to build up their cloth nappy stash can apply to receive a free cloth nappy pack. How the scheme works Open to residents of New Zealand. We are giving away two complete cloth nappy packs with microfibre inserts. These are designed for parents who are struggling finanically and would benefit from using cloth nappies, so make sure you let us know WHY you are interested. Applications are available for one month until 19th November 2021. We will judge applications based on need and choose packs for those who we decide could do with them.
